Dear Plastic,

Problems: To reflect the Plastic Surgery Desires of People who are close to me ( To reflect how they want me to remember them visually)

Sub Problem: To make a comparison of how their desires and original differ and matter.

Virtual Plastic Surgery Games

Virtual Plastic Surgery Games

Virtual plasticsurgery gamesare still rare online but show great potential for mass popularity. The idea that we can see what we might realistically look like after plastic surgery is of great interest to even many people who would never consider plastic surgery in real life.

Unfortunately these virtual games are still very basic and childish and will not give you realistic before and after images. The best you can expect is some entertainment value. But here’s two of the most popular ones to check out;

Celebrity Surgery Game - Dr .90210

See a new celebrity surgery game at Eonline. It lets you choose facial features of various celebrities and then paste them on to your customized face shape. You can pick the lips, nose, chins, eyes and hair of various celebrities such as Angelina Jolie, Beyonce and Cameron Diaz and then put them all together into what you imagine could be your ideal face.

It’s the Dr. 90210 Celebrity Face Lift Game and I can see how it will be a popular pastime with many people (especially teenagers) spending several hours on it, though it’s clearly just for fun and will not give you any kind of accurate before and after results. Makeover games like this are all in their primitive pioneering stages these days, but this will probably change drastically in the next five years and soon we will have very sophisticated 3D virtual models to makeover and dress-up.

Miss Bimbo Attracts a Huge Following

Miss Bimbo is an online virtual makeover game that’s causing a lot of controversy. It was first released in France about a year ago and has 1.2 million members - mostly girls under the age of 16. Just a month ago the English version was released and over 220,000 girls have already signed up.

The goal is to “become the hottest, coolest most famous bimbo ever!” The game encourages girls to ‘buy’ virtual breast implants and weight loss pills.

Many parents are outraged. But here’s a couple of comments from people reading about it at the Guardian;

Is this any different from boys games being all about shooting things, beating people up and being generally anti-social?

Games are games. They aren’t real! If they had anything like the influence the tabloids would have us believe then society would have crumpled long ago.
…..

Children play at being adults. If adults are stupid enough to fixate on dieting, cosmetic surgery and celebrity body image, it is not surprising that children play at the same things. If you want to stop children playing disturbing games, you need to address the disturbing behavior of adults.
